Your gift to the Illinois Humanities Council (IHC) will allow us to bring humanities experiences to all corners of the state. The IHC is an independent, non-profit 501© 3 organization funded by foundations, corporations, and individuals, as well as the Illinois General Assembly, (through the Illinois Art Council, a state agency), and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Your gift will support such programs as:
- The Odyssey Project
- The Public Square
- IHC Road Scholars Speakers Bureau
- Museum on Main Street
- Capitol Forum
- Statewide series such as the upcoming All-Consuming: Conversations on Oil and Water
Individual Gifts
Gifts from individuals are welcomed to help support IHC programming. Your gift may be designated for a particular purpose, may be given for unrestricted support, or may be made in honor or in memory of an individual. Give now to become a charter member of the Friends of IHC, our new Giving Club for donors that make an annual unrestricted gift of $500 or more.
