Here's an interesting article about how energy issues are portrayed in the new James Bond movie. For those who have seen it, what do you think about the movie's view on water privitization? And did you know that Bolivia has had issues with water privitization that led to riots? You can read more from the CBC here.

I will spare all of those
I will spare all of those unlucky people that have not seen the new James Bond adventure, "Quantum of Solace," and not discuss in detail the elements of the movie. But I will ruin one thing however, simply because I have to answer what this question is asking.
In the film a criminal group led by a ruthless mastermind, is interested in a vast water supply deep underground in Bolivia. From what I saw it looked to be a lake bigger than I have ever seen.
Now many individuals may ask what the big deal is and why anyone would care about water underground. But if they knew just how crucial that water is they would completely understand.
Water is of course, as you all know, the most important factor to anyone's way of life. Life just cannot be supported without it. And it is this reason why I believe water privitization can be called the most evil force in the world.
Water privitization is basically a form of controll. If you own that water you control that water. Now say that water is in an area that is in constant need for water resources; you would have the power over all of those dependent on that water source.
Thus you the owner of this water would become a very influential person. The people would pay anything for your water because they have to, especially if your the main supplier.
Now that you can see the importance of the issue of water privitization you can draw conclusions on why it would be such a concern in countries such as Bolivia.
Countries such as Bolivia have citizens that would actually kill for water, the controller of the water controls the lives of that nation.
(And yes I did know water privitization was an issue in Bolivia)
Water shouldn't be controlled!!
